I began in 1987, I was just a kid and found out about CB by my self listening some transmissions on my Walk Talk, after that I started to work to get some money and bought a CB radio, That was amazing and was at 1989. So I discover DX on 11m and a lot of new friendship comes. So, I start getting bored with no Propagation, and no new QSOs and I was presented to HAM RADIO BANDS, and start to learn CW by my self. Get member of LABRE (the same as ARRL) in Rio, where I was very well received by PY1SL whom drove the League in that time. I study a lot of stuffs and did a exam and of course I've passed! Start at Ham Radio since June, 1996. I bought a Yaesu FT-840 and began in some National CW contests when I could win all of them in my category and I get motivated by that. So I stretch a lot of Dipoles all over my house to almost all bands (15m,20m,40m) and used a 3el. yagi to 10m that I tunered with my AT-180 on 12m. The same with my 20m Dipole on 17m and 40m dipole on 30m. But in 2002 I have to stop because some personal problems.
So, in 2007 I have moved out to Campinas in São Paulo because a new job offer, and I thought to start over again on Ham Bands, then more than 5 years later, in 2008 I was at my Best friend's home. (PY1NX´s Home). And did some QSO´s and that took my veins with RF. hihihihi. I decided back to the bands, and now I'm here with PY2SEX call sign. By the way is a Good call sign, huh?
